Grinder/ Molder

Position Summary:

• Working safely by following company rules and wearing the proper safety equipment
• Operating several pieces of equipment including: overhead cranes, table blast machine, tumble blast machine, chop saw, snag grind machine, and manual grinding hand tools.
• Reading and following process instructions
• Identify casting defects
• Keeping work areas clean and clutter free
• All other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• Must be able to work safely and independently
• Need to have reliable transportation
• Ability to work overtime as scheduled
• Have good finger dexterity
• Be quality conscious
• Lift up to fifty pounds
• Learn to operate overhead cranes and hoists
• Ability to use hand grinding tools, saws, and tape measurers
• Complete basic math (addition and subtraction)
• Be able to read and process instructions
